An online visualization tool available here allows visualizing NTA data for population groups by broad age group, sex, education, and family status. The tool allows comparisons between groups and across countries.
For each selected population group, the average per capita in- and out-flows are depicted by two stacked bars. The illustration below gives an example for Spanish parents age 26-59 living with dependent children. The right bar (blue shades) show the available inflows, most importantly labour income. Other components are asset incomes and private and public net transfers if positive. The left bar shows the use of the inflows: above the zero-line, the graph depicts the consumption, below all negative net transfers, both private and public, as well as savings.
